from CANopen to J1939
I/O modules are a fundamental component in industrial automation. They act as an interface between the control unit and the operational devices on a production line and enable precise control of complex processes.
MicroControl I/O modules offer progress and future-proof technology: they are more powerful than conventional industrial electronics and support various protocols such as CANopen, CANopen FD and J1939 for more flexibility and compatibility in a wide range of applications.
A high-light feature is the option of switching the I/O modules to J1939 “on the fly”, which enables dynamic adaptation to different requirements. The user can switch between CANopen, CANopen FD or J1939 by DIP switch or by corresponding settings via CAN bus. This facilitates transmission and analysis of process values of the µCAN modules in almost any CAN environment.
